Mothering Sunday

Happy Mother's day to all the mummy's out there. Like Paula, I went all cheap too! Hahaha! But it's better than not giving anything, right? I remember I never used to give any thing to my Mum and Dad.

Gah, I can't believe it's Sunday already. I still don't want to go back to college. My one-week holiday (absence) is over. I haven't even done my homeworks from the previous week. I've been too ill to do it or rather too lazy? I'm in deep trouble when I go back to college tomorrow because I didn't inform them that I was off ill. They probably thought I was skiving the whole week. I'm beginning to hate college! But I don't want to drop out because I want a good future. Lmao! Maybe if my boyfriend came to the same college as me I wouldn't be like this. I mean I wouldn't even be absent not even for a day. Too much daydreaming!

How do you handle phone calls from telemarketers?

That's funny cos I used to curse at them or just hung up on them when they start talking about offers and stuff. But when I started working as a telesales-woman back in April 2006 I started to know how it feels to be hated for being so annoying calling people's landline's without even knowing their numbers. I realised it's not their fault that they (or I) found a crappy job. It was merely because they're in dire need of money or in my behalf I just needed the money for shopping. Lol! I used to get cursed at, hunged up and someone even threatened me to call the police lol. Like I was scared, I was merely doing my job. Ha! Funny, not a lot of people know that telemarketing companies use sequencial dialling so basically the operator doesn't really know your number because the computer does it for you. That was my first and last job. I didn't even last a whole month working as a telemarketer. I only did three shifts that was 9 hours to be exact and I thought that was it for me. I couldn't handle it anymore.

Who knew I'd sign up for VOX? I was aware of this site before but I didn't sign up because I have too many blogs to manage but here I am. I might make this blog private or I might not. Who knows? I certainly don't know yet that's for sure.

I've been ill since Saturday night. My temperature had been unpredictable, the next thing I know it's really high and then an hour after that it's back to normal. I don't get ill a lot but whenever I do, expect that worse comes to worst.

Anyway, I'm having my British Citizenship exam this afternoon around 3 p.m. in Birmingham. Hopefully, I'll be fine but still wish me luck!

I had my exam this afternoon and luckily I passed but to be honest it wasn't hard. I finished doing the exam first than anyone else in the room in less than 5-10 minutes since it was multiple choice including true or false answers. Anyone would be able to pass the Citizenship exam if they've read the Life in the UK book. Now, all I have to do is apply for my British passport but that will take long because I don't have any money to pay for it yet. Plus, it costs about £260+ which is way expensive. My mum isn't paying for it because she doesn't have the money yet and they also have to pay for their (mum and dad) own. I guess it's time for me to get a job. If only mum applied in September when I was still 17. I wouldn't have had to take that test.
